Reading is surprisingly difficult when there is a global pandemic taking over your life!! March had us mostly adjusting the way we operate 100%. I am able to work from home, and so my days are still quite full, but with the added collective trauma of COVID-19.
That being said, I finished 2 books in March and they were both wonderful! Homegoing easily made it’s way into my top ten list for its beautiful, interwoven, and compelling story lines, and The Sun Does Shine, reminded me how much Criminal Justice Reform is needed NOW and how we HAVE to abolish the death penalty!
Ten books down, forty more to go!
